Expansion of the Visalia Landfill, including a new 115-acre waste management unit (WMU) with a designated maximum height of 210 feet above existing grade; development and operation of a demolition/recycling diversion area; development and operation of a new entrance complex to be located at on Avenue 328; and an increase in the average daily tonnage throughput from 570 tons per day to 1,200 ton per day and a peak throughout of 2,000 tons per day with a corresponding increase in the vehicular trip count of 800 vehicles per day to 1,020 vehicles per day.
