The proposed project is known as the Terminal 4 Improvement Program for American Airlines at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). This project consists of the operational and physical upgrade of Terminal 4 facilities, the provision of a passenger connector from Terminal 4 to and from the Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT), and the operational and physical upgrade of the American Airlines' West End Maintenance Facility.The improvements to Terminal 4 are intended in part to enable American Airlines and its codeshare partners to provide a competitive level of service (LOS) to passengers by improving the efficiency, convenience, and comfort of the passenger experience.
