Document Description
The City, in cooperation with the Beaumont-Cherry Valley Water District, intends to develop facilities that will provide reclaimed water to users within the City of Beaumont and to adjacent, unincorporated areas of Riverside County. When implemented, the reclaimed water system is expected to consume as much as 0.96 million gallons of treated effluent per day which corresponds to approximately 80 to 90 percent of the present total discharge from Treatment Plant No. 1. The project also allows for reclaimed wastewater to be used for percolation and groundwater recharge, and also includes facilities for the storage and distribution of portable water via the proposed Taylor well and storage tank.
