Document Description
This project consists of the demolition and replacement of portable classrooms that are over 20 years old. The project will also involve various improvements to one of the facility's permanent buildings, and accessibility improvements throughout the permanent buildings. Improvements include new flooring, doors, and walls, new fire alarm system, electrical upgrades, and some new cabinetry. All improvements, including new construction, will take place on the existing school-grounds. The purpose of this project is to remove deteriorated portable classrooms, and to provide permanent classrooms that meet the educational needs of the academic program. Beneficiaries include the students, teachers, and staff who will enjoy the results of these improvements over a period of years.
