Project consists of installing native one-to five-gallon trees and shrubs adjacent to existing dead or dying mature landscape trees in the day use picnic area of San Buenaventura State Beach. Project is associated with Earth Day activities and would involve digging holes for approximately 50 plants approximately 18 inches deep and 18 inches across. Project is located in an existing developed park area. No potential for significant adverse impacts to the environment is anticipated.
