Document Description
The nature of the project is an extension of time (for 10 years, until November 2010) within which the District may put to use water diverted from the South Fork of San Pedro Creek under Permit No. 16962. The purpose of the extension is to allow the District the opportunity to secure, by means of license, permanent rights to divert and use water from this souce at rates and volumes as close as possible to those allowed by Permit No. 16962 (Permit No. 16962 allows a diversion rate of up to 0.65 cfs; the authorized diversion season is December 1 to April 30). The beneficiaries of the project are the water customers of the District and the citizens of California.
