Document Description
An estimated 3,600 yards of waste have been discarded at the three above named locations near the towns of Amboy, Chambless, and Essex which lie along Historic Route 66 in the Mojave Desert. The illegally dumped waste is primarily comprised of household trash, abandoned vehicles, metal debris, construction/demolition (C/D) debris, and tires. The project consists of separation and hauling approximately 500 yards of recyclable metal items to an appropriate recyclling facility; the loading and hauling of approximately 3,100 yards of unrecyclable solid waste (household trash and C/D debris) to a suitable landfill; the removal of approximately 225 waste tires to an appropriate facility; and the packaging and disposal of household hazardous waste at an appropriate facility.
