Document Description
The project will provide a 99,000 square foot of space for collective uses contained within the University Auxiliary Services Building. Based on program needs the building will be three stories high, consisting of the University Bookstore, Cafeteria, Continuing Education, Conference Center, UAS Administrative Offices and the CSULA Credit Union. The beneficiaries of the project are California State Unversity, Los Angeles; especially the students, faculty and staff.

a) The project is consistent with the approved Campus Master Plan and all applicable policies and regulations; b) it is within the campus boundaries on a site less than 5 acres within the existing academic core development of the campus; c) the building will replace an existing building mainly with the same function (cafeteria) along with the bookstore and credit union: d) the development is within the planned program analyzed in the Master Plan and the project wil not result in any significant environmental effects; e) the building will replace an existing building and will adequately be served by the existing utilities and public services.
