Document Description
The Proposed Action includes construction of an air operations facility, vehicle maintenance garage, facilities maintenance shop, and electronics shop, as well as general site improvements, including a fuel island and vehicle wash area, vehicle parking areas, and an offsite storm drain. The air operations facility would consist of an air operations building, aircraft parking apron for 12 helicopters, helicopter landing pad, aircraft wash rack, aircraft truck refueling facility, truck parking, and parking for staff and visitor vehicles. The vehicle maintenance garage would include offices, repair bays, tire shop and storage, metal fabrication, engine and transmission shops, body shop and paint booth, parts storage, and warehouse. The facilities maintenance shop would accommodate various shops, including carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, and masonry, landscaping, painting, and welding. The electronics shop would include two primary uses, an administrative area and workshop areas.
