Document Description
The project is a 3,290 linear-foot segment of paved surface, shared use trail for bicyclists and pedestrians. Located within Kennedy Park in the City of Napa, the trail extends from Highway 121 to the Park's turf activity area west of the duck pond. The total 14-ft. trailbed sections reflect a 10-ft. width for bicycles, with centerline pavement markings. There are 2-ft. shoulders on either side of the trail, one side to be used by joggers and walkers, and the other to provide a 2-ft. separation between the trail and vegetation. Materials consist of a 2-in. asphalt paving area over a 4-in. compacted aggregate sub-base.
