Primarily single-family residential land uses front on the side streets that are served by Lewelling Boulevard Mobile home parks and small commercial centers are located to the western end of the street. New single-family homes are being developed at Roberts Landing. West of the railroad tracks, behind a soundwall. Existing mobile homes and single family homes back to the eastern side of the railroad tracks, with wood fences and landscaping buffers. Commercial / industrial uses are located to the west of the tracks in Alameda County. San Lorenzo Creek forms the boundary between the City and County and is crossed by a railroad track bridge. The pipeline is proposed to cross below the creek channel west of the bridge.
Document Description
The project involves installation of a new 54/66-inch diameter sewer interceptor pipeline. It would intercept three existing 30-inch pipes that currently serve the area. The route reduces length of force mains and minimizes disruption to established neighborhood. It would cross under railroad tracks and under the San Lorenzo Creek flood control channel.
