Document Description
The Project will restore approximately 102 acres of diked bayland to tidal marsh habitat incorporating tidal sloughs, tidal ponds, and pickelweed/cordgrass marshplain. Tidal action will be restored by grading down existing levees and cutting breaches in the levees, creating channels to the interior portions of the site. Tidal ponds will be constructed using fill graded from the existing levees. After completion, the parcel will be incorporated into the adjacent Petaluma Marsh Wildlife Area.
