Document Description
This project replaces the existing Pratt thru truss-pony crossing of Thomes Creek with a concrete box girder bridge. Thomes Creek is an ephemeral stream; the bridge removal and construction will take place in the dry streambed. Construction of a new bridge includes 400' of widened approach road in order to comply with AASHTO standards for transportation facilities. The bridge replacement will remove elderberry trees and as such consultation with the USFWS has initiated.
