Document Description
The City of Ontario is proposing to construct and operate 3 new groundwater production wells (Wells 45, 46, & 47) and associated chlorine injections systems as part of the Chino Basin Dry-Year Yield Program. Each well site consists of deep well vertical turbine pumps, 500 to 700 hp electrical motors, onsite chlorine generation equipment including salt and sodium hypochlorite storage tanks, and associated appurtenances. Once installed and operational, the wells are anticipated to yield ~2,500 gallons per minute to the system.
