This project, to be carried out by the City of Rancho Palos Verdes, involves the planting of 565 trees on various city streets and parks. It is anticipated this project will commence in April of 2000 and be completed by January 2002,. Trees will be non-native ornamentals that have been selected for their disease resistance, adaptation to the urban landscape, shade capacity, and minimal litter production.
