Document Description
The proposed project consists of the property acquisition and construction of a standard CDF two-engine forest fire station with a bulldozer shed, battalion chief, and resource management offices. The proposed forest fire station would also have a 2,990 sq. ft. barracks and kitchen; a 3-bay apparatus building, a storage room for hazardous materials, vehicle and fire hose wash facility, fueling station, perimeter fencing, utilities, landscaping, and paving. The current facility would be converted to office space. In addition, CDF may add an automotive shop to the new facility within the next 2-5 years.
