Document Description
The proposed project includes revisions to the 1997 Solid Waste Facilities permit issued by the California Integrated Waste Management Board for operation of the Santa Cruz Resource Recovery Facility (Class III landfill). The permit revisions include: a) permitting the landfill for a maximum disposal intake of 535 tons per day, b) incorporating the city/county household hazardous waste collection program, c) providing for the diversion of construction and demolition waste for reuse, and d) clarifying and updating the maximum number of disposal intake vehicles to 360 vehicles per day.
