Document Description
Geysers Power Company ("Geysers") proposes to divert up to 10.55 cubic feet per second ("cfs") of water from Big Sulphur Creek at its BSC-1 Extraction Facility ("BSC-1 facility") in accordance with the conditions in its water rights permit (No. 20011) ("permit" or water rights permit"). The BSC-1 facility is an existing screened diversion located on Big Sulphur Creek in Section 19, Township 11 North, Range 8 West. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2991-0803 pursuant to Section 1603 of the Fish and Game Code to the project operator, Frank Obertance/Geysers Power Company, LLC.
