Applications filed with the SWRCB by the Cities of Fairfield, Vacaville and Benicia (Cities) would enable the Cities to obtain appropriate water rights for diverting and using currently unappropriated surface waters of the Delta plus water now appropriated to the SWP or CVP, pursuant to Water Code Section 11460, et seq. Proposed diversions would in total be up to 31,620 acre feet per year.
