Document Description
The City of California City is applying for a grant for this project through the Federal Aviation Agency (FAA). This airport improvement program includes the engineering/construction of an airfield drainage channel and fan dispersal system for the airfield. The drainage channel will be an open flow channel for the dispersal of sheet flow drainage. This drainage channel will eliminate erosion of the runway shoulder and the overrun. Purchase and installation of runway lighted signage, and the upgrade of direct burial lighting system.
