Several telecommunication cables are located in the offshore areas of Morro Bay and Point Arena where AT&T's cables are proposed to be located. The onshore landing at Morro Bay is in a paved parking lot at Montana de Oro State Park. The landing at Manchester is on fee-owned property surrounded by Manchester Beach State Park.
Document Description
Complete AT&T's Japan-U.S. Fiber Optics Cable Network by installing a cable (Segment S9) connecting current AT&T installations at Moro Bay and Manchester Beach and a cable (Segment S8) from fee-owned property surrounded by Manchester Beach State Park directly to Japan. In addition, five bore pipes will be installed at Manchester Beach to provide for the landing of the two currently proposed cables and three future cables.
