Document Description
The proposed project would construct an 8 foot high roof-mounted security fence along the front of the hospital administration building and a 16 foot high ground-level security fence along the southwestern perimeter of the hospital. The no-climb wire mesh fence with razor wire would be equipped with disturbance alarms. The fence would run north/south, parallel to the hospital perimeter road on the west side of an unnamed drainage creek. The proposed fence would cross the unnamed drainage at two locations. Culverts would be installed at the drainage crossings. The proposed fencing would connect into the existing security fence and would fully secure the perimeter of the hospital which is currently unfenced in the proposed project location. The project is needed to protect hospital staff and the community from potentially dangerous patients by preventing escapes.
