Document Description
The CDFG has issued an Agreement Regarding Proposed Stream Alteration (SAA #5-366-99) ("agreement") to alter the streambed to install bank protection along the east bank to stabilize the adjacent property for future development. The project consists of the following: (1) reconfigure the slope to reduce the grade in areas identified as Section B, C, and D in the plans; (2) install rock rip--rap or concrete at the toe of the slope; (3) place ungrouted rip-rap (approximately 1 to 3 feet in diameter) up the slope (in Sections B C, and D as needed); (4) place soil over the ungrouted rip-rap, so that no rip-rap is exposed; and (5) plant the impacted area with native vegetation and remove all non-native vegetation from the area. Concrete or rip-rap will be placed at the toe of the slope along 1600 linear feet of the east bank of the creek, behind the existing riparian vegetation. Once the rip-rap is in place, soil will be placed over the rip-rap and native riparian vegetation will be planted on the slope. No more than 0.07 acre (1600 linear feet x 2 feet wide) of riparian vegetation will be impacted as a result of the project. The project shall not extend into the stream channel beyond the existing toe of the slope. The Agreement is for the installation of bank protection only and does not include any other construction or fill within any other State jurisdictional areas including the terrace located on the east side of Trabuco Creek identified as Section A of the project.
