Document Description
In Shasta County near La Moine. This project proposes to correct an erosion problem by constructing a gabion blanket (rocks enclosed by wire) beneath the Slate Creek Bridge (no. 6-28). The erosion problem stems from drain holes in the bridge deck and is not related to either Slate Creek or nearby Sacramento River. No work is planned within the ordinary high water mark of either waterway. Permits will not be required. No additional Right-of-Way or construction easements are required.
