Document Description
Project consists of the removal of an existing chainlink fence and the construction of a stucco wall along the common property line between El Presidio de Santa Barbara SHP and the Garden Street Hotel Project site in Santa Barbara. In order to recompact the Garden Street Hotel lot and provide a solid footing for the stucco wall, approximately 3 feet of soil (depth) will be restricted to 90 feet along the NW/SE trending property line and along a 20-foot segment of the NE/SW trending boundary. After recompaction and wall construction, the grade within the affected area on DPR property will be reestablished to its pre-project condition. Also, as part of this project, a wooden shed associated with residential structure at 219 East Canon Perdido Street will be demolished. An archaeologist will insure avoidance of significant impacts to cultural remains. No potential for significant impacts to the environment is anticipated.
