Surface Water Supply Agreement with the South San Joaquin Irrigation District (SSJID). The City of Ripon has entered into an agreement with the South San Joaquin Irrigation District for a surface water supply. The City intends to initially use the water for ground water recharge. The most economic and expedient approach to utilizing the water is to select recharge locations adjacent to or very near to existing District distribution canals of conduits.
