Document Description
The Proposed Project consists of changes in the operations of Camp Far West Reservoir to implement the proposed Bay-Della Settlement Agreement between South Sutter Water District (SSWD) and the California Department of Water Resources which exports water from the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta. Up to 4,400 acre-feet (AF) of water would be released from Camp Far West Reservoir (operated by SSWD) during dry and critical water years for use by the State Water Projectto meet environmental and contractual obligations. The water will flow into the Delta where a portion may be exported or the entire amount may be used by DWR to meet the State Water Resources Control Board's (SWRCB) 1995 Water Quality Control Plan. The purpose of the Proposed Project is to provide for releases of water that will fully satisfy the potential obligations of SSWD and all other Bear River Water Rights Holders (represented by SS/WD) to contribute to implementing the objectives of the SWRCB's 1995 Water Quality Control Plan.
