Document Description
The proposed project is a general plan amendment, zone change, and planned development permit. The proposal is to change the land use designation of the property from Freeway Service to Community Commercial, change the zoning from Freeway Service to Planned Development General Commercial. The cuurent land use designation of the property would not allow automobile sales. The proposed amendment would permit general commercial uses on the property. The project includes a Planned Development Permit to allow the placement of a 1,500 to 2,000 square foot modular sales office for a new and used car sales lot affiliated with the Saturn of Santa Maria dealership. The project does not include automobile maintenance, detailing, or accessory installation.
