Document Description
The proposed project consists of the construction of a 4,500 square foot kitchen/mess-hall, five 1,500 +/- square feet of dormitories, a 2,450 square foot +/- bachelor officers quarters using either wood framed construction or structural insulation panels with a stucco exterior treatment, and a 300 +/- square foot generator storage building. The project also includes the purchase of one 800 amp; 208 volt generator to supplement the existing emergency generator. The existing kitchen/mess-hall building would be demolished and removed from the site. This building has been altered several times in the past, and does not retain historic integrity. Based on a site visit and consultation with existing evaluations performed by a CDF archaeologist it has been determined that the project would not have a significant effect on historical or archaeological resources in the area.
