Document Description
The project consists of the construction of a standard California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection Forest Fire Station (CDF) two-engine, three-bay apparatus with an office space, a 12 bed barracks/mess hall building, a bulldozer storage pad, utilities, a storage building, paving andd a workshop. The project also includes demolition and removal of the existing buildings from the site. No flora, fauna, nor sensitive habitat will be disturbed or impaired by this project. There is no evidence of cultural resoutces present on the site. All work will be performed within the existing disturbed site. The proposed project is necessary because the existing structures are old and are too small to house larger, new fire engines and related equipment.
