Document Description
The proposed project consists of the construction of a 5,000 square foot mess-hall facility with a 120 person capacity dining room; a new kitchen and some new kitchen equipment. The proposed site work would also include paving, walkways, connecting utilities, septic systems, and propane system. The existing mess-hall building would be demolished and removed from the site by California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection personnel. This building has been altered several times in the past, and does not retain historic integrity. Based on a site visit and consultation with existing evaluations performed by a CDF archaeologist it has been determined that the project would not have a significant effect on historical or archaeological resources in the area.
