The proposed project will extend the eastbound I-80 HOV lane approximately 520 meters (1700 feet) westerly so that eastbound I-80 HOV's can merge directly into the existing eastbound I-80 HOV lane where it merges with northbound I-80. All of the project improvements will be within the existing right-of-way.
