Document Description
Construction of a bridge 436 feet in length and feet in width at the crossing of Avenue 62 over the Whitewater River Channel. The proposed bridge will be built within the 60 foot County owned right-of-way. The three span bridge consists of cast-in-place prestressed concrete box girders supported by columns with deep foundations. The bridge is designed to allow the 100 year old flood waters to pass through with approximately three feet of freeboard. Vegetation will be cut rather than removed. Impacts to riparian vegetation and wetlands are temporary. The footings of the bridge will be 55 feet away from the edge of the river channel.
