The Department of the California Highway Patrol (CHP) is proposing to exercise a lease-option to purchase its currently occupied Beaumont/San Gorgonio Pass CHP Area Office land and improvements. The site consists of approximately 96,800 square feet or 2.222 acres with approximately square 20,400 feet of existing office and other improvements. The site and buildings accomodate approximately 95 employees per shift. Approximately 95 parking spaces are available on-site for visitors and staff. Public transit is available within 1/4 mile of the site. The project involves no expansion or change in existing use.
