Document Description
Inmates from MCSP will be employed by American Moulding and Millwork Company (AMMC) to assemble and finish furniture in the existing vocational education area of A yard. Inmates will learn a marketable job skill and work ethic. Portions of inmates' salary support victims of crime and repay the State for their incarceration.

The project will result in no impact on the environment. Existing facility space will be leased to AMMC for this project. Amador County Air Pollution Control District (APCD) has been consulted and indicates no significant impact. The project does not violate any air quality standard; the water based coating is not a hazardous air pollutant, creating no objectionable odors. AMMC will obtain a permit from the Amador County APCD.
