Develop surface parking located on property which is owned and maintained by the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) in order to provide off-site parking for the CalPERS Headquarters Expansion Project. The offsite parking is intended to reduce congestion in the vicinity of the CalPERS Headquarters, and to enable CalPERS to reduce the size of the Headquarters Expansion Project by one floor. CalPERS is seeking to negotiate a long-term lease of the site from Caltrans.
