The Department of Navy has been actively involved in ten Installation Restoration (IR) Program Sites since 1980. The IR program sites were investigated by the Navy to assess whether site conditions pose a threat to human health and/or the environment. Based on these investigations, appropriate response actions were assigned to each site. A record of decision (ROD)/Remedial Action Plan (RAP) is proposed for the 10 IR sites.
