Document Description
Application 30485 is for the right to divert up to 25 acre-ft. (AF) of water to storage, primarily for irrigation, frost protection, and heat control on 60 acres of wine grapes. Application 30486 is for the right to directly divert up to 25 AG of water for frost protection. Water is pumped from a sump in Sage Creek; the max. rate of diversion is 1 cfs. The water is pumped approximately 1,000 feet to a 25-AF capacity offstream reservoir. The place of Use (POU) was planted in wine grapes starting in 1973. No additional plantings are proposed. The combined diversions under the two applications shakl not exceed 50 AF per annum.
