The Inyo/Mono Counties Agricultural Commissioner has requested $156,622.16 from the Sierra Nevada Conservancy's Proposition 84 Competitive Grants Program to fund invasive weed eradication on 19,206 acres in the watershed of the Lower Owens River. The targeted weeds are perennial pepperweed, Canada thistle, and Russian knapweed.
