Description of Current Project: Site Development Permit, Conditional Use Permit, Neighborhood Development Permit, and a one-time release from the City of San Diego conveyed easements to construct a high-voltage (138 kV) underground generation interconnection transmission line (gen-tie line) within an existing privately owned road, Green Valley Court, public right-of-way (Beeler Canyon Road and Stonebridge Parkway} and open space area south of Beeler Canyon Road located within the City of San Diego. The proposed gen-tie line would connect a proposed battery energy storage facility located in the City of Poway to the San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) Sycamore Canyon Substation located on federal lands (Miramar Marine Corps Base).
