Document Description
CDFG is intending to execute a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1603 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Brookfield Motecito, LLC. The applicant proposes to alter the streambed to develop the Montecito residential community. To construct the Montecito subdivision, a total of 3.16 million cubic yards of earth will be graded on the 278.1 acre site. The subdivison will include 277 single-family residences, 36 open space lots totalling 125 acres and the preservation of an existing residence on a 1.7-acre lot. A sewer line will also be constructed offsite that will serve the Montecito development. Jurisdictional riparian comunities onsite include: southern willow scrub, wet meadow, freshwater marsh, mulefat scrub, and unvegetated stream.
