The existing 2 lane River Road Bridge over the Santa Ana River is located at the beginning of the Prado Debris Basin, immediately upstream of Prado Dam. The existing bridge is functionally obsolete and structurally deficient. The bridge is proposed to be replaced with a longer span bridge and at a higher height. The document assesses 4 lane alternatives of varying bridge spans.
