The Project will occur at two locations north of the existing State Route (SR) 46, the White Canyon Creek crossing is approximately 2 miles west of the SR 41/46 junction, and the Cholame Creek crossing is approximately 4.4 miles west of the SR 41/46 junction between the communities of Shandon and Cholame in San Luis Obispo, California. The Project Locations are located within Section 36 of Township 25 South, Range 15 East, Mount Diablo Baseline and Meridian (MDB&M) and within Section 3, Township 26 South, Range 15 East, MDB&M. The Project Locations are depicted on the Cholame, California United States Geological Survey 7.5-minute Quadrangle.
