Document Description
The existing Savage Canyon Landfill is located in the City of Whittier in the County of Los Angeles. The landfill is located in the northeastern section of the City, and is accessed from Whittier Boulevard and Penn Street. Regional Access is primarily from the San Gabriel River Freeway (interstate 605). The existing landfill is partially bordered by a land use buffer area of 23-arces which provides separation from adjacent residential areas.
