Document Description
The CDFG has issued an Agreement Regarding Proposed Stream Alteration (SAA #5-131-99) ("agreement") to David Yamahara of the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works ("applicant") in conjunction with the applicant's proposal to alter Cold Canyon Creek to repair two culverts that were damaged during the 1998 storms. The projects includes upgrading the culverts on Canyon Road at house numbers 1405 and 1431. Concrete headwalls and wingwalls will be constructed at the inlet and outlet, as well as a 12-foot-wide access road terminating at the top of the headwall. The project will temporarily impact 0.48 acre of stream bed (including 0.07 acre of native vegetation) and permanently impacting 0.12 acre of streambed with native riparian vegetation.
