Site work includes new septic systems, waste drainage systems, paving, landscaping, and utilities. The automotive facility will consist of a rigid steel frame building with lightweight metal partitions, metal siding and metal roofing. The bulldozer storage bay will have a seismic seperated wall, a metal framed building with load bearing metal stud walls and metal rafter/joists, metal siding and metal roof. New buildings will be finished consistent with existing structures at the facility. California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection personnel will demolish the existing automotive shop, a 1950's era structure. This building has been altered several times in the past and does not retain historic integrity. Therefore, its removal will not have a significant effect on historical resources.
