Document Description
Project consists of installation of two retaining walls in two locations at El Capitan SB. One retaining wall is to be placed behind Restroom #3. This retaining wall will be 50 feet long and 3 feet high with two 8-foot long, 3-foot high wings. The second retaining wall is to be placed adjacent to Restroom #6. This retaining wall will be 50 feet long and 3 feet high. Both walls will be made of pressure-treated wood (3-x-12-inch planks and 4-x-6-inch posts). Holes will be dug to a depth of 3 feet for the 4-x-6-inch posts, which will be placed every 6 to 8 feet as needed. Holes will be filled with approximately 2 square feet of cement. No potential for significant impacts to the environment is anticipated.
