Document Description
THIS PROJECT CONSISTS OF EXPANDING AN EXISTING DAY USE AREA TO PERMIT MULTIPLE EVENT CAPABILITIES. THE PURPOSE IS TO MAKE IT POSSIBLE TO CONDUCT ORGANIZED EVENTS IN THE AREA WHEN IT IS NOT BEING USED FOR NORMAL DAY USE STAGING. THE PROPOSED PROJECT SITE IS LOCATED IN AN AREA PREVIOUSLY DISTRIBUTED BY DEVELOPMENT. THIS PROJECT WILL 1) ADD A NEW RESTROOM, INCLUDING A SEWER LINE AND NEW LEACH FIELD/SEPTIC TANK; 2) CONSTRUCT A PAD FOR A TEMPORARY BUILDING WITH WATER, ELECTRICAL, TELEPHONE, AND SEWER HOOK-UPS, 3) RELOCATE OVERHEAD WATER TRUCK FILL UP PIPE, 4) REPLACE POND OVERFLOW PIPE FROM POND TO CREEK, 5) CREATE A NEW TRAINING TRACK NEXT TO THE OFF-ROAD PALS TRAINING AREA AND RELOCATE FENCING, 6) INSTALL AN INTERPRETIVE DISPLAY PANEL ENCLOSURES; AND 7) RELOCATED AN EXISTING SHED AND REMOVE EXISTING CONCRETE PAD, AND 8) CONSTRUCT NEW SHADE RAMADAS. THE PROPOSED TRAINING TRACK WILL BE CAPPED WITH SOIL TO PROTECT AN EXISTING ARCHEOLOGICAL SITE.
