Document Description
The proposed project will install 16 Ramp Meters, 10 Traffic Monitoring Stations, and 15 Close Circuit Television cameras at various locations along Interstate 5 from Pocket Road to the Interstate 80 Junction within the City of Sacramento. Lanes would be added at seven on-ramps (six by widening, one by restriping). At three on-ramps, the new lanes would be carpool lanes. After widening, each of the widened ramps would be overlaid with open grade asphalt concrete. The project will require some trenching and permanent easements. The highway replacement planting and irrigation will be be included as part of this project.
