Document Description
1) Remove obstructive vegetation and sediments from one agricultural channel to maintain free flows fields into McGrath Lake and 2) Remove obstructive vegetation and sediments from the immediate vicinity of the two pump intakes. The proposal project will maintain the existing width, depth, and flow characteristics of the channel. The project conditions require the project proponent to remove invasive non-native vegetation. (Arundo, castor bean, clot burr, mustard, etc). from the channel in locations and in a manner approved by the Department.

The Department has deterimined that the activities, will not have a significant effect on the environment and which shall, therefore, be exempt from the provisions of CEQA under Article 19 (Section 15300). The project as proposed, is exempt under the following categories:
15301. Existing facilities. Class 1 Operation, repair, maintenance, or minor alteration of existing. . .private, . . . topographical features, involving little or no expansion of use beyond that existing at the time of the lead agency's determination. Sectoins (B) (f, h, i).
15304. Minor Alterations to Land. Class 4 Minor. . . private alterations in the conditionof land water and/or vegetation which do not involve removal of healthy, mature trees. . .(d).
